Post Wedding Wrap-Up

The wedding is over, it went off without any incredible drama and my little sister has a new nameĀ  (yeah that’s still weird to me). It was a beautiful fall day and she was the most beautiful bride I’ve ever seen. You already know a little bit about the engagement pictures that were taken and the wedding invitations that were created, but I have to say we spent a lot more time on the other details. Unfortunately my stress level was so incredibly elevated that not only did I not have the chance to take pictures of a lot of it, the thought didn’t even cross my mind (some photographer, I know). I did manage to get a few post-wedding pictures of the programs and party favors.

These were her programs, and if you’re wondering, I made an official declaration that I will NEVER again purchase ribbon. Through the course of this wedding I think I’ve purchased enough ribbon to circle the globe at least 30 times and no, that’s not an exaggeration. If I have to clarify to one more craft store employee that it has to be satin and it has to be 3/8″ because 5/8″ just won’t work I might loose my mind.

*ribbon breakdown complete, we now return to your regular scheduled programing*

We also created party favors for the guests, and while I can’t say this idea was my own I can stake my claim on the tags that were attached. These are white tulip bulbs for the guests to take home and plant to see bloom next spring.

Now that it’s about a week later and all the stress is gone, and all the ribbon is out of site, and all I have is good memories of my little sister’s perfect wedding, I can safely say that I see a very nice elopement in my future.

The End.
